Study designs
CEPHIA has experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. Several projects conducted by CEPHIA have included desk reviews, systematic surveys and meta-analysis. We therefore take pride in conducting studies of multiple designs separately or in one project. CEPHIA consultants have experience in conducting mixed methods
studies.
Monitoring and Evaluation and Impact surveys
CEPHIA team of experts understands monitoring and evaluation frameworks. The team has experience in developing logic models, log frames, indicators and evaluation frameworks. These models and frameworks, including indicators, have been developed in health, business and development projects in Africa, Europe and East Asia. CEPHIA consultants also partner with other international consultants to provide services globally.
Data collection services
a. We collect data for clients who, because of their time schedules and inadequate capacity cannot meet their schedules. We take pride in our database of staff with relevant qualifications across the country who can collect data using modern methods through customised training services. Over the years clients have valued the skills we have which they don’t have in line with the increasing project demands and technology and urgency of data for action and policy.
b. We take pride in our data collection frameworks, knowledge of data methods and strict adherence to research protocols and quality procedures. We understand that quality data is the back bone of valid results and successful projects.
Data analysis services
We provide data analysis services. Organisations collect data but may not have time and capacity to analyse their datasets. We make the link from data to information by analysing their datasets for project completion. In some occasions, we co-write peer-reviewed manuscripts for projects that we are meaningfully involved with clients. This service is provided in both qualitative and quantitative data sets.
Database development
Sometimes clients do not have time, licences or capacity to develop databases for data capture or analysis. We provide these services to our clients. Common databases some of our clients have requested include Epi info, redcap, epidata, survey monkey.
Data capture
CEPHIA provides services for data capturing. Organisations may collect loads of data and request us to capture the data onto the software of their choice and prepare it for analysis.
